Internships:

Internship opportunities are also available for students enrolled in a Master’s program in Social Work, Mental Health, Psychology or related programs.  Students interested in pursuing an internship should contact their field of education state board to ensure that all Nevada State requirements are met before applying for an internship at MWW.

We also offer internship opportunities for Bachelor level students in Human Service degree programs and Substance Abuse certificate or degree programs.

Background Checks:

All interns and prospective employees are required to furnish a finger printed background screening before the start of the internship or first day of employment.

Licensing Requirements:

The State of Nevada requires that anyone interested in practicing as a Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Addictions Counselor, be licensed through their disciplines State Board.
